Sin Cara defeated Damien Sandow
Sandow, who’s been telling people he’s now treating every match like it’s his last, pounced on the masked marvel, driving to the canvas with a flurry of fists. Sandow’s sudden-death mentality served him well in the early moments of the match, as he kept the luchador grounded and evaded his airborne tactics when necessary.
The aggressive Sandow tried to end the bout quickly, but Sin Cara would not be defeated easily. The masked man battled back, flooring Sandow with a tornado DDT, following up with a flying headscissors and a picture-perfect moonsault. Sin Cara came close to victory with a unique powerbomb, but Sandow found the will to kick out.
Sandow eventually knocked Sin Cara off the ropes and locked him in an unusual submission hold, but the luchador wriggled free. He slid out to the apron and caught Sandow with a jumping kick to the face. That left The Intellectual Savior of the Masses in perfect position for Sin Cara’s senton, allowing the luchador to fly toward victory. (x)
